Party Foul!

A commission to accompany a story wherein the evil Director of the Friends of the Free Library of Philadelphia unknowingly asked if the volunteers setting up the annual book sale were (something worse than stupid) to their faces, when, in fact, they were all mentally incapacitated. The result was many hilarious months of anger management classes.

This Weird Guy

So a few of you have asked me about my process. Here are 4 stages of a new technique I'm playing with:

Step 1- Tons of sketches of who knows what

Step 2- Brush and ink-style drawing

Step 3- Flat colors for reference

Step 4- Insane amounts of time making dots and toying with it until cross-eyed and brain dead

Ta-da!

Little Idiots

Ah, little idiots, how fun you are to draw

I don't know who this guy is either, but I love his expression. Please feel free to add your opinion as to what he is reacting to in the comment section, if you would. My guess is someone just informed him his'86 Lincoln Continental was towed.

Less Reference

Most of doodles are done with little to no reference at all. Which is pretty fun! Today's posts are no exception.

New Year, New Banner

I liked these two an awful lot and it seemed like a shame to keep them so small up top there
